Horror game Allison Road launches on Kickstarter
Only this time, the entire house is haunted.
With P.T. no longer obtainable, Silent Hills thrown in the trash and Konami seemingly out of the whole making video games thing, there’s only one other way to recapture the haunting fun of everyone’s favorite teaser.
If a slow, claustrophobic horror is what you’re looking for, consider throwing a few pounds in Lilith’s direction over at the Allison Road Kickstarter page.
Allison Road is a first-person, current-gen horror game that has been clearly inspired by P.T. Will you be putting any money towards the development of Allison Road? Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions will follow after regardless of whether or not their stretch goals are met, but meeting them will allow Lilith to add additional programming resources to bring the release of those versions forward. If you couldn’t tell what’s real and what’s not? Thanks to a new Kickstarter page, the studio is hoping to raise funds and expand its company to take on the workload involved in creating this title.
Allison Road has a planned release of December 2016. Back then there was nothing action-packed or super flashy about these games, it was really about telling a deep and intricate story.
“These days it seems that horror games are more about style over substance and little to no narrative, whereas we are going to return to the roots of true psychological horror”, Lilith said.
