House rejects Obama climate change rules
Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R-Kansas, said today the EPA rules the House is schedule to vote on, which set new limits on future carbon emissions, “stifle job creation”, which the White House disputes.
Many conservatives in Congress deny that climate change is a result of human industry and agriculture, and have opposed emissions controls created to slow global warming. “President Obama is delusional on this”, said Carly Fiorina.

Xi did however say it is crucial that the Paris talks address economic differences between nations, and allow different countries to develop their own solutions.
Obama listed several criteria for a potential agreement, including an “ambitious target” to reduce carbon output, a slate of tools to measure countries’ progress and a “legally binding” mechanism to ensure countries adhere to their carbon reduction commitments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cautioned against any unilateral steps that will lead to an economic barrier in the battle against climate change.
The House passed a pair of resolutions, largely along party lines, that would prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from implementing rules the administration released earlier this year to curb greenhouse gas emissions. “We’ve multiplied wind power threefold, and solar power more than twentyfold, helping create parts of America where these clean power sources are finally cheaper than dirtier, conventional power”.
