Houston Texans RUMORS: Arian Foster Has Torn Achilles, Season Over

The Texans have been awful fundamentally, they have been out coached, and outplayed in their 5 losses. After an extremely slow start to the season Miller has gotten off to extremely strong starts the past two outings.

They played Tennessee and Houston, two teams that are weaker. For a game that was already well in hand for the Dolphins, the Texans Pro Bowl running back got hurt at a time when starters are usually pulled.

Foster was starting to run a pass pattern off pre-snap motion when he fell to the ground and grabbed his leg. He was helped off the field by teammates and training staff. Yet the owner seems to care about money, over winning in fact his team has only made the playoffs twice and only had 4 winning seasons in 13 years. “It was about trying to get back in the game”. There will certainly be games in the near future – like Thursday’s crucial showdown in New England – where the Dolphins won’t have a 41-point halftime lead and Tannehill will have to attempt more passes.

The Dolphins total margin of victory in the last two weeks is a whopping 46 points (82-36), and defensively they have looked reborn. That’s no coincidence. The players are playing harder and smarter for Dan Campbell. But the Dolphins have been different under Campbell, who said he took over a team of sleeping giants and promptly roused them.

Reaching first place will take a lot longer, but a win Thursday at New England would be a big step in that direction.
