How Lincoln Chafee Justified A Vote He Wasn’t Prepared For
Stephanie Chafee is the wife of 2016 Democratic presidential candidate and former Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee.
When asked by TRNS if he would like to take another shot at the question, Chafee declined. “I’d just arrived, my dad had died in office”.
Chafee added that the repeal would have gone forward with our without his support.
The fate of the frogs and the office-confined aquarium where they dwelled remains a mystery (although a few indoor frogs can live as long as 21 years), as Chafee did not have the opportunity to discuss his interest in amphibians during the Democratic debate.

“Gov. Chafee, you have an F rating from the NRA”.
“Here’s what worries me, governor, because of your distinguished career”, Blitzer said.
Later in the evening, Chafee said that Central Intelligence Agency analyst Edward Snowden, in exile following his release of classified U.S. documents that exposed the CIA’s illegal wiretapping of American citizens, ought to be allowed back to America.
Chafee: I think you’re being rough. It’s a talking point he used to distance himself from Secretary Clinton.
Yet Chafee’s comments to Blitzer only reinforce the view among many Rhode Island observers that the famously stubborn former Republican may not give up his quest for the White House anytime soon, particularly if he can snare an invitation to the next debate, which will be on CBS News in November. Of all the candidates running for President, Jim Webb probably has the highest body count, so there’s one way to compare them. ‘I had just arrived at the United States Senate. “And it’s the same thing elsewhere getting into the media, whether it’s the Sunday shows or the like, it’s – I have a feeling that the establishment doesn’t want to hear an anti-war voice”.
Tonight marked the first time the five Democratic candidates for president faced off before a debate audience.
