How Many X-Men Easter Eggs Were Found In ‘Logan’?
Variety reported that on Thursday night, Logan began to give an indication it was going to have one of the best March openings ever for an R-rated movie, by earning “a powerful $9.5 million”.
Set in the near future of the X-Men universe, almost all mutants are dead, and those that aren’t are in hiding.
Logan on the table – At the end, the kids are treating a sick Wolverine. The synopsis of the movie reads: “In the near future, a tired Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border”.
For 17 years and over eight movies, Jackman has portrayed Marvel’s most popular mutant with zeal. Between the two movies, its clear that the marketplace is ready for R-rated superhero movies when they’re done well and effectively marketed. He also tries to make sense of Logan’s convoluted timeline and how it may fit with the other X-Men movies.
“Logan” also stood out from others in it’s genre in the scale of the action. “I think about it everyday”. The movie which is apparently the last movie of Hugh Jackman in the legendary role of Wolverine has melted lot of hearts as Logan will no more be the Old Wolverine.
The characters are easily the highlight of “Logan”.
In the movie, Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) tells Logan (Hugh Jackman) that the government has classified Charles Xavier’s brain as a weapon of mass destruction, and, as viewers, we get to see first-hand what the professor’s psychic powers on the fritz can do to mutants and humans alike.
Patrick Stewart proved that he still has it and will always have it when it comes to his acting ability.
As long as Wolverine remains a badass with claws in his hands, there will always be a demand for him.
Well, none so far (but that’s likely to change in the near future given how much praise her performance in Logan has received). But this time around, the last instalment of the “Wolverine” series, Logan, brings you a buck load of emotions.
Logan is now screening in cinemas.
The “post-credits” sequence for Logan has been revealed – and it’s all about the Merc with a Mouth. “Yeah, it’s exciting – but as they’re walking out, I’m hoping they’ve gone through the wringer!” I’m not brooding on it, but I’ve come to a point where the numbers are against you.
In what I would call a near-perfect movie, the only gripe I have is about a few of the special effects.
“I do remember catching him out on the beach in Australia, once when he was 12, talking to a 15-year-old girl”, Jackman said of his son. For the most part, everything looked fine.
The big question is who’s on their list to take Jackman’s place? Although, honestly, it kind of goes without saying.
