How Sebastian Stan Feels About Possibly Becoming Captain America
However, Bucky seems to pick up the pieces of his hero history as he appears in “Civil War” as a member of “Team Captain America”. While we still have no idea when that footage will arrive, one of the film’s stars has shed some new light on this highly-anticipated sequel.
Marvel has not released the details of its plans for Bucky once the Civil War is over, but since Stan is still on a lineup for his original nine-picture contract, fans will surely see a lot of him in the future Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
“I mean, [there is] some serious fighting”, said Stan, “Some really brutal fighting like you haven’t really seen before in any other film, which I’m really proud to say”. The movie also will be boasting of some of the most serious action scenes ever and overall the story will have a lot of character and heart. There’s nothing scarier than something that’s like you being unsafe, so I think it’s darker and it’s fun. He added that he enjoyed his role as Bucky and he loved doing what he does, along with his love for his character. It is set to feature the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, this time joined in his “solo” film by fellow Avengers Robert Downey Jr.as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.
While comic book lovers know very well that Bucky Barnes has been freed from the bonds of Hydra, the good friend of “Cap” is still not himself. However, according to Cinema Blend, chances are that General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by William Hurt will be following the comic book footsteps and become the Red Hulk; thus opening the possibility of a fight between him and the Hulk in the film.
Now, its completely dependent on Marvel as to which way would they like to steer Bucky aka the Winter Soldier. Let us know in the comments section.
