You may have noticed that U-shaped and polygonal runways have replaced the quintessential, straight track of the early shows.

The show was a celebration of diversity and effortless glamour, as only Marc Jacobs can do. Under the agreement, MADE continued to operate on its own but aligned with the agency. Both were there in July when it was the headquarters for the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s inaugural men’s fashion show. It was some of fashion’s people to know and I was there! But that was about it. There was little left to do but get in, see a show and get out.

By many measures, New York has surpassed these perennial powers as the fashion capital of the world. And we’re seeing more and more of these high-paying jobs in New York City.
