How to see Santa in the skies over Yorkshire on Christmas Eve

This adorable video shows a very excited little girl who obviously has Christmas on the brain and mistook a random shopper for Santa Claus.

She knelt down and stared at him, and told him she thought he was Father Christmas.

“Sophie found Santa at Walmart this evening”, her father, Robert Riley, posted on Facebook.

Following their brief encounter, Sophie let the man get back to his shopping and left with a memory she will never forget.

Thankfully, the man knew exactly how to react and he played along with the entire scene.

In the video, you see little Sophie Riley slowly walk up to the man she believes is Kris Kringle himself.

“I’m playing a part but it is one of the most truthful parts I can play”, he says.

Naturally, given the time of year, she assumed it could only be one person – Santa. She had spotted the Santa lookalike and followed him a bit until she got up the nerve to talk to him. She told him he had to share the rest with the reindeer. So cute and innocent.

The clip was filmed in an unknown USA supermarket and has been viewed nearly 80,000 times since being posted on YouTube yesterday.
