If all else fails and you’re eager to get the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, you can opt into the Release Preview Ring of the Windows Insider Program to download it.
A new Focus Assist feature provides you with a detailed summary of your missed emails, notifications or updates. There’s also a couple of other options that are more direct. The new build will be releasing on 30th of April as a download file and it will roll out to all the machines on 8th of May.
Microsoft Edge now includes the ability to mute tabs and has an updated Hub view that shows more content and is easier to use.
If you don’t want to participate in the rollout, you can also delay the update by heading to the Settings – Update and Security, and click on Advanced Options. “Since its initial launch, we delivered two updates with features created to enable the creator in each of us”, Microsoft said in the introduction for the April 2018 Update.
