How to watch Cowboys vs. Packers
They would have to win out, have the Panthers lose out, and have the Cardinals also finish 12-4 to create a three-way tie. The Packers now have the 23rd-ranked passing offense, but they can take the Cowboys by surprise if the Rodgers-to-Rodgers connection is on point in Week 14.
“Same thing he did last week”. This means the press coverage needs to be stout for the Cowboys DBs in this game. Let’s break down Sunday’s game.
The 8-4 Packers face the 4-8 Dallas Cowboys – who are without QB Tony Romo.
For the Cowboys to move the ball successfully, they’re going to need to get the ball to the outside to their wide receivers quickly, using efficient throws to get the ball out of Matt Cassel’s hands.
However, due to the poor play of the NFC East, they aren’t out of playoff contention just yet.
Crockett finished hist first National Football League game with 22 yards on 5 carries, but proved to be the energy the Packers needed to start a comeback that ended in a last second hail mary leading to a 27-23 victory over the Lions.
If one or more of James Jones, Randall Cobb, or Davante Adams can step up to the plate and bail out their quarterback, this game should be an easy win for the Packers. Starks provided the 1-2 punch, rushing 11 times for 71 yards, including a 30-yard TD in the fourth quarter. Every team plays us differently. The Packers are beat up along the offensive line with injuries on the interior and at the tackle positions. Starks and Lacy eventually wore out the Cowboys on the ground.
The Green Bay Packers are going to need their receivers to help out Rodgers this week if they want the win. He had put together back-to-back 100 yard or better games against Minnesota and Chicago before his misstep.
However, against Cassel in Lambeau, I can’t side against them here.
