Hrithik Roshan Lauds Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor For ‘Tamasha’
Mumbai: The film “Tamasha” has earned Rs.10.87 crore on the first day of its release.
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has lauded actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor for their latest release “Tamasha”.
As Today is the 1st day of the Tamasha movie on the box office screens, The Film was expected to collect Rs 25 Crores on the first day itself. This movie is written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The story of this movie is based on youths who believed that falling in love is something spoils-sports.
If Tamasha clicks with the audience and at the BO, then it will not only regain his lost glory but even benefit his (said to be jinxed) film Jagga Jasoos’ (as Ranbir is also a co-producer of the film) future prospects.
The Tamasha movie has registered 80% advance booking for its opening day itself from which the first day collection is fairly exceptional. Total: NZ$ 11,436 [₹ 5 lacs]. Total: A$ 62,027 [₹ 29.87 lacs] & in UK: Fri £ 72,470 [₹ 72.91 lacs].
Ranbir Kapoor’s last released “Roy” did not performed well.
The film makers and the director is very happy with the box office success. YJHD had a splendid performance of Rs. 19 crores net approx on its opening day which means ‘Tamasha’ is short by nearly half the amount.
