HTC Desire 728 Launches in India
The HTC Desire 728 Dual seems to abide by the latest HTC design philosophy which incidentally was also used in the HTC One A9 and the Desire 828. The Desire 728 comes with HTC’s BoomSound speakers aided with Dolby audio technology.
It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense and features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display like the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM, which was launched in July. The company also recently launched the HTC One X9 with Helio X10 SoC and 3GB RAM in China, but there are no details about the launch of One X9 in India.
The smartphone sports a 13MP AF BSI rear camera with LED flash support and a 5MP FF BSI front-facing camera. Up front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with 1080p video recording capabilities.
The HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor. It has 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to a whopping 2TB, but as of now only 200GB MicroSD cards are available in the markets. It also comes with 4G LTE TDD connectivity with support for Indian networks.
The Desire 728 is priced at Rs 17,990 a price range that is now crowded with plenty of high performing mid-range devices like Xiaomi Mi4, OnePlus X, Moto X Play and the likes.
HTC has announced yet another mid-range device in the form of Desire 728 Dual.
Connectivity-wise, the dual NanoSIM (USIM + USIM) HTC Desire 728 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro-USB 2.0, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, GPS + GLONASS.
