HTC launches 4G ready Desire 626 smartphone at Rs 14990
HTC has launched a new phone yesterday in India, called the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM.
Whereas the Desire 626 single SIM version released with a Snapdragon quad-core processor, the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM release for India packs a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor instead.
Apart from this, the phone offers standard issue niceties like a 5-inch display with HD resolution.
Desire 626 Dual Sim 4G comes with a 13 Megapixel BSI sensor rear camera with LED flash.
“Our customers are gradually looking for stylish 4G LTE enabled smartphones with faster processors, network speeds and outstanding battery life”. They are creating and consuming rich video content and want greater freedom to personalise their smartphones. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera with fixed-focus feature and also a BSI sensor.

Faisal Siddiqui, the president of HTC, South Asia explained that consumers from the subcontinent were giving preference to phones having higher memory support and dual-sim slots.
The Taiwan-based smartphone and tablet manufacturer also equipped the device with 2,000 mAh battery, which is sufficient enough to keep the lights on for a period of time depending on usage. Running Android along with HTC Sense on top, it includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, and comes out into the markets with a 5 inched screen.
Coming to the Connectivity Options, The new HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, GLONASS, A-GPS, DLNA, and FM radio connectivity options.
