HTC One A9 appears in new photo leak
Walking around the hardware of the One A9, we can see that it’s got volume and power/lock buttons on its right side, microSD and SIM slots on the left, and what looks to be an IR blaster up top. Let’s hope the price is a fair one.
HTC have a new device that they are set to officially announce to the world later on the month, on the 20 October to be precise. The latest news comes from prolific and mostly-reliable leaker @OnLeaks and purports to show a dummy unit of the device. Knowing that it will likely use HTC’s special UI though, we expect that the company would want to give it a slightly better combination of features in order to make it run smoothly and offer a lag-free experience while zipping through Android. Starting with the front, attention is drawn to the very large bezel to the bottom of the display, which seems overdone considering it only holds the fingerprint sensor. Also, at the bottom, you can easily spot the speakers that looks like what’s on the Lenovo Phab Plus, of course, also on the iPhone 6 where it is believed these guys got their inspiration. The next one in their line-up is the HTC One A9, expected to arrive in about a week, and while the device isn’t going to be as powerful as the more advanced flagships by the company, it should definitely be a good addition to the Android market and be noticed by many people, even those who don’t traditionally follow Android phones so actively. Further leaked specs are a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 4-megapixel UltraPixel front-facing shooter, and a 2150 mAh battery.
The first equipment will be the HTC One Man Google Play Edition which happens to be considered up-to-date prior to end of October. When it was first rumored it was thought that it would be a high-end smartphone, and interest among a few waned somewhat when we learned otherwise.
HTC’s next smartphone has been making its way through the rumour mill for an age, and the leaks are seriously mounting up.
