HTC One A9 goes global -launched internationally
What are your expectations from the HTC One A9? It’s all a bit of a shame, because we remember a time when HTC produced some truly fantastic handsets.
According to a source, HTC’s next flagship smartphone is going to be named Perfume, which is quite unusual seeing as how we covered reports that the next device featuring “top of the line” hardware specifications was going to be HTC O2.
It’s the most interesting specs lineup we’ve seen from an HTC device in a long time, and that’s barely the tip of the iceberg.
Well-known HTC leaker and reputed HTC developer LlabTooFer reported on Tweeter yesterday that the O2 project has been dropped. Will Perfume be the actual name or codename?
Not a lot was revealed about the device, apart from the claim that it might run yet-to-be-announced Android 6.1 and Sense 8.0. Obviously we can not verify this news but we have to say that this particularly tipster rarely gets it wrong with HTC product news, so we’re inclined to think this has legs.
The latest update Android Marshmallow Version 6.0.1 comes with support for nearly 200 new Emojis, security patches and numerous bug fixes. Even though the One A9 is still a new handset, HTC is already working on their next flagship smartphone.
The new phone will be equipped with the faster Snapdragon 820 processor to run the company’s customized Sense 8.0 interface and come with a bigger 3,500 mAh battery and 4GB RAM, a 20.7-MP primary camera and a 5-MP secondary camera, and a 6-inch, 1440×2560 pixel resolution display, other sources revealed. It also packs a 4-megapixel UltraPixel front-facing snapper.
