HTC One A9: Rumors
The HTC One A9 Android 6.0.1 update is now rolling out with over 200 emojis and other performance improvements.
This device comes with a 5.5 inched full HD screen, which comes with a gorilla glass coating.
After several weeks of rumors and leaks, HTC and Samsung have finally launched new cell phones into the Chinese market.
HTC has announced another new smartphone that we have been hearing rumors about, the HTC One X9 and the handset will be available in China.
WARNING: During the upgrade process the device will reboot multiple times and show software upgrade screens.
Under the hood, the One X9 runs under a 64-bit MediaTek Helio MT6795T X10 chipset, with an octa-core CPU clocking in at a speed of 2.2 GHz. The storage is listed at 32GB, but expandable up to 2TB through the usual means. There is no word about the Android version the smartphone will come with but we expect HTC to ship the handset with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Other features of note are front-facing stereo speakers, dual nano SIM slots and the return of capacitive Android navigation buttons to the phone’s face (HTC’s last two phones, the One M9 and A9, don’t have those). It comes with fast charging support. The device measures 153.9 mm tall, 75.9 wide, and 7.99 mm thick.
The 4G LTE supporting HTC One X9 also offers Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS connectivity options. There’s a 3,000mAh battery to power it all, to boot. Coming to the camera, you will find a 13MP rear snapper with OIS (optical image stabilisation), support for 4K video recording and dual-tone LED flash.
The same report claimed that one of the major observations of users was the removal of the “UltraPixel” camera on the back of the previous HTC One M9 phone. However, the fingerprint sensor is found missing.
