HTC One M10 leak suggests One A9 design similarities
There was the HTC One M10, the HTC O2, and the HTC Perfume, amongst others, all being pegged as the next big kahuna, and then it all went quiet.
HTC continues to churn out new smartphones such as the One A9 and One X9, but what many are waiting for is a true stunner from the company in its One M series.
In terms of specs, given that the HTC One M10 will be the brand’s flagship Android we can expect it to match the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs sheet and it may just come down to personal preference when selecting between devices. The word comes via IT Source, which alleges that the One M10 is back on as the flagship device.
HTC dropped the dual front-facing speakers that defined its iconic One M7 and One M8 in favour of a small speaker grill at the base of the device, like the iPhone. This was followed by another tweet that was rather more intriguing if still brief.
The HTC One M10 (codenamed Perfume) was supposed to be a breath of fresh air, but a new rumor claims the device could be more of the same instead. Evan Blass also mentioned that “if you like the A9, you’ll love the M10”. According to Twitter tipster Evan Blass, the One M10 is headed to AT&T with a design similar to last year’s One A9. Of course it could refer to something completely different, perhaps a more stripped-down Sense UI.
The last thing we heard about the handset is that it would offer two processor variants, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, the other with a MediaTek processor. Would you be happy for the design of the HTC One M10 to reflect that of the One A9?
