Huawei Announces Watch 2 & Watch 2 Classic Smartwatches with Android Wear 2.0
We think the company might even sell a lot more of the P10 if it had such a variant, and it would most likely not affect sales of the larger P10 Plus. Apart from these, the Huawei P10 will have USB Type-C port next to the audio jack. While the design does not look too different from its predecessor, the firm has added a new series of colours to the line up, through their partnership with Pantone Color Insititute.
The colors are Greenery, Prestige Gold, Dazzling Gold, White Ceramic, Mystic Silver, Graphite Black, Dazzling Blue, and Rose Gold. The handset comes in an all-metal design similar to the P9, however the edges are now curved much like the newest iPhone models. The fingerprint sensor is on the front of the device in the form of a capacitive button, which also doubles up as the primary means of navigation on the device. The fingerprint sensor also supports gestures. Prices for the smartwatch start at €329, roughly $347.
While neither phone is water resistant, both are powered by Huawei’s proprietary 2.4GHz octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 960 chip, the same chip found in the Mate 9. The standard model has 4GB RAM and storage of 64GB. It is the phablet sized version of the P10 with some exclusive features and upgraded innards. The Huawei P10 Plus, on the other hand, gets 64GB of storage space. The 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants. MicroSD support is available (up to 256GB) as well. The top-tier model will also get a 4×4 MIMO antenna that makes it compatible with 4.5G network speeds. The P10 Plus features a slightly bigger 5.5-inch screen with 2K resolution.
The world’s third-largest mobile-maker after Apple and Samsung unveiled the new P10 and P10 Plus, which come in a range of new colours, an all-metal body, a 40 per cent boost in battery life and improved Leica-branded dual camera lens. As many of you know, next Sunday will be the expected Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, and of course, we will be here to report any news. While the camera setup is near identical, there are slight differences in the camera capabilities of the Huawei P10 and the P10 Plus. The P10 only has f/2.2 aperture while the P10 Plus rocks a wider f/1.8. The 8-megapixel Leica front camera delivers superior technical and artistic photography features. There’s an interesting-sounding adaptive selfie mode which will adjust the angle of a shot depending on the number of people detected in the frame.
