Both variants have microSD support up to 128 GB, but the 64 GB also integrates an Active Stylus. Apparently, the iPad Pro made the stylus hip again!
“At Huawei, we are committed to expertly blending the latest technology in stylish, premium-looking devices that exhibit our innovation and design expertise”, said Yanyan Ji, vice president, head of marketing for Huawei Device USA.
Huawei is raving about the tablet’s speakers as well, since it has four of them that feature “an Intelligent Power Amplifier, Clari-fi Audio Restoration and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound, tuned by leading audio brand Harman/Kardon for stunning, rich sound”. Testing the stock note writing application, it appears handwritten words are converted to text with little apparent delay.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 has a pretty solid hardware platform.
On the inside of that aluminum body lives an octa-core Kirin 930 processor paired with either 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage in the silver model, or 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in the gold version. The Chinese company at the launch touted that it partnered with Harman Kardon for audio on the tablet. The MediaPad M2 will go on sale in the U.S. and a number of other launch markets some time in the first quarter of this year.
FPC confirmed in a statement that already received as well as expected revenues in 2016 that relate to sales of FPC1155 for this tablet model are included in FPC’s communicated revenue guidance of 6,500-8,500 MSEK (US$758 million to US$991 million). The base 16GB storage model with 2GB of RAM and Wi-Fi connectivity will retail for $349, while its LTE-connected variant will cost $399. The Wi-Fi model with the same configuration has been priced at $419 (roughly Rs. 28,000) while the LTE model comes at $469 (roughly Rs. 31,250).
