Huawei’s latest concept phone promises to be Magic
Huawei Honor Magic smartphone was launched in December 2016.
Imagine when you are on the road, Honor Magic automatically recognizes that you are driving and will prompt a reminder for you to switch the device to driving mode. The Chinese manufacturer has now revealed its new Huawei Magic Pro smartphone, which has got its magic packed in the form of artificial intelligence. On the other hand, the Mi MIX featured some innovative hardware like the three-sided bezel-less display, ultrasonic proximity sensor, and piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology speaker. The proprietary operating system called Honor Magic Live is what beats at the core of the Honor Magic. Magic Live is an extra layer of AI-based software that can perform specific tasks. The device comes with some exciting specs and an awesome design. It can be activated by long-pressing the home button. This feature is going to enable the user to register few faces to whom the phone will show any sort of notification or activity that is going on in the place. My Pocket feature brings the sharing options on any screen by just swiping up from the bottom of the screen. It ensures the privacy of the device owner. The fingerprint scanner has been embedded on to the physical home button on the front.
The Honor Magic features a 5.09-inch 1440 x 2560 Quad HD resolution curved AMOLED display with 3D glass on top.
It has the familiar Hisilicon Kirin 950 chipset, boasting an octacore processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB or internal storage, according to the Honor website. This Magic Charge promises to charge 70% within a short time span of 20 minutes and 90% in half an hour or 30 minutes. The front camera with infrared rays recognises your eyes to unlock the phone. The rear camera is a 12MP unit with an 8MP front camera. The camera is featured with an f/2.2 aperture and large 1.4µm pixels. Connectivity supports 4G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac- 2.4GHz and 5GHz/, Bluetooth 4.2 and Global Positioning System. It measures 146.10 x 69.90 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness).
The phone is surprisingly ergonomic and light as well, with 145 grams of weight and there are two colors available, Porcelain White and Golden Black. You can pre-order for one beginning today. Yes, it is Huawei’s curviest phone so far, but when a company is introducing a concept phone, it is expected that they will try to push the boundaries of conventional phone design and introduce something new or different.
