Huawei’s Nexus 6P Will Take The HTC Route With Bigger Camera Pixels
As with any comparison like this, we are basing it purely on the speculated specs of the new Nexus 6 update for 2015, seeing as though what we know so far is based on rumors and mere speculation.
Pocket-lint cited some of the prominent features Nexus 5X will have. Google has worked on some power saving feature which will extend the battery life, after this option failed to be introduced in v5.0 Lollipop.
The information from the FCC corroborates with the Amazon listing that stayed on the retailer’s webpage earlier this week, which suggests the LG-H790 and LG-H791 are the two versions of Nexus 5. Whereas the Nexus 6P could come with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
In terms of screen size the iPhone 6S Plus has a 5.5 inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1920×1080 and 401 ppi, compared to the 6P with its 5.7-inch AMOLED display and 2,540 x 1,440 pixel resolution. The processor will probably be a Snapdragon 810 octa core, which will be backed by 3GB of RAM, but we have no information regarding the cameras.
Yes, times are changing and Huawei is rumoured to include camera tech that is similar to what HTC used on the One M7, M8 and the M9 smartphones. Are you sufficiently hyped up after all these leaks?
Searching the databases for the Huawei Nexus 6P – which is, of course, the other expected Google Nexus phone to be launched two days from now – has yielded zero results. In August Google released the final Android 6.0 SDK to developers and a third (and final) Marshmallow software preview that can be loaded on Nexus devices.
Finally, Google appear to be including a fingerprint scanner on the rear of the phone.
Google unveiled Android M at it’s I/O conference in late May and has since confirmed that the sweet codename for Android 6.0 will indeed be Marshmallow.
Good times are coming for the Android users who expect Google to launch the LG Nexus 5X next Tuesday, September 29: the smartphone just got a green light from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on Friday.
As regards pricing, it is expected that the 16GB version of the Nexus 5X will be in the same price bracket as the original which means around the $350 mark.
