Huawei sales revenue rises 40 percent
The firm said net revenue rose 33% year-on-year in 2015, reaching 36.9 billion Yuan.
“We are confident that Huawei will maintain its current momentum, and round out the full year in a positive financial position backed by sound ongoing operations”, said chief financial officer Sabrina Meng. The decline in operating margin was due to increased investments made by the company to assist future growth. It revealed the figures in a brief update which did not disclose profits.
Huawei’s enterprise business is on a fast development track. The company also promised to remain customer centric and stick to its pipeline strategy.
In January 2016, CBN reported that Huawei has already established 16 R&D centers, which gives it a cutting edge over most smartphones vendors, as many of them depend on third parties for components.
Its consumer business, including smartphone sales, has strongly supported the company’s performance, soaring 73 percent to 129.1 billion yuan past year.
Huawei is one of the leading suppliers of network groundwork worldwide.
Huawei’s consumer business has maintained steady growth globally. In May, Samsung was sued by Huawei in the United States and China, accused its rival of infringement on patents for fourth-generation (4G) cellular communications technology, user interface software, and operating systems.

Huawei did file a lawsuit against Samsung over their 4G technology patent.
