Huge Explosions Rock Tianjin Industrial Area in China

The cause was not immediately clear.

According to CNBC, a smaller blast, the equivalent 3 tons of TNT, triggered a larger one equaling approximately 20 tons, shaking the port city of Tianjin.
The state-run Xinhua news agency reported the explosion tore through a warehouse storing “dangerous goods” in the Binhai New Area.
Photos apparently taken by bystanders and circulating online on microblogs show a enormous fireball high in the sky, with a mushroom-cloud.
