Hugh Freeze takes staunch stance on Confederate flag

Suspect Dylann Roof, who had written a racist manifesto, had taken pictures with the Confederate flag among other things.

But the state flag in Mississippi continues to have a pattern of the Confederate flag.

Republican Gov. Phil Bryant has said he respects the 2001 election results, but if the issue is to be reconsidered again, he thinks it should be done by another statewide election rather than by the state’s Legislature.
