Hulu Releases the First Teaser for 11.22.63
The first teaser for Stephen King’s 11.22.63 has landed online, proving that it’s possible for James Franco to be involved in a literary adaptation not by William Faulkner.
Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush made news recently by suggesting that – if given the opportunity – he would travel back in time and kill baby Hitler. Check out the 11.22.63 teaser trailer below! A series of shots of Jake in the 1960s follows, offering glimpses of characters he meets (like Sarah Gadon’s Sadie Hill), objects he finds (a burned book), and trouble to come (he wields a gun, and cautiously peers outside of a window).
Kevin McDonald (“Last King of Scotland”) directed the first two hours and J.J. Abrams serves as an executive producer, along with Bryan Burk and “Friday Night Lights ” writer Bridget Carpenter.
11/22/63 premieres on President’s Day 2016 because Hulu thinks they’re amusing or something. Along with his mission being threatened by Oswald himself and falling in love, Jake wrestles with time itself as it works to stop him from making any changes. Abrams, and based on a Stephen King novel of the same name, the show also stars Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, Cherry Jones and T.R. Knight.
