Humbled by fans’ love on birthday: Amitabh Bachchan
Veteran star Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday became a gala event for the film industry, as many Bollywood celebrities wished him good health and happiness.
It is a tough question when asked who could replace me.
The actor, who will be seen on the small screen with the show Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi, said surnames are used to define one’s nationality, which is not wise.
The 73-year-old, oh-oh sorry “Young” actor, who has chose to skip a grand celebration and wants to spend it just like any other normal day with his family, said that he is happy both personally and professionally.
Deep baritone: Amitabh Bachchan is known for his deep baritone and although he was rejected by All India Radio as an RJ (Radio Jockey), this turned out to be a blessing for Bollywood. He frankly answered that even in future if someone finds his life worthy enough for a biopic he has no idea which actor should portray him on-screen. “May Amitabh Bachchan live a long and healthy life”, Rakesh, a coolie, told IANS. “Yudh didn’t work because people didn’t like the show”, Mr Bachchan said, matter-of-factly. They are inspiring a lot of people. It’s always so shattering to be doing something for the first time and hoping and praying all goes well. The Piku star experienced a pull towards penning his thoughts while going through his father’s work.
Rekha has worked with Amitabh in a number of movies including “Do Anjaane”, “Suhaag”, “Khoon Paseena”, “Muqaddar ka Sikandar”, and of course the most controversial movie “Silsila” which released in 1981, starred the sizzling love triangle of Jaya Bahadhuri, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha.
“My present is by the grace of the almighty, so immensely busy that I have little time to look back and assess”.
“They never get an opportunity ever to be noticed and none of them even do this work with the intent of being noticed”, he added.
