Hyped prospect Dario Saric signs contract with Philadelphia 76ers
“In 2015-16, the 6’9”, 225-pound forward averaged 11.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in 24 games for the club.
After almost a year of reaffirming his intentions to play for the Sixers in the 2016-17 season, Saric has officially signed with the team.
Dario Saric, fresh off being named MVP of the Olympic qualifying tournament in Turin, Italy, has arrived in Philadelphia to undergo a physical and ultimately sign a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers will have to pony up €1 million to bring the 22-year-old Saric over (which equates to roughly 1.11 million in USA dollars) to help bolster the frontline the team has been hoping to build since their plans of becoming very bad to become good again was incepted.

The 2014 NBA Draft first round pick has been playing professionally in Turkey since then and has become somewhat of an enigmatic symbol of the Sixers’ rebuild.
Given a stockpile of big-men, including Embiid, Saric, No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons, Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel, the onus is now on Brown to either make all of the lottery selections coexist or determine which could be expendable via future trades. Somehow, someway, things may be working in Philadelphia.
