I am even more optimistic about the future: Obama
US Vice President Joe Biden accused Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of being an opportunist who had no clue about how to make America great.
“First, she’s consistent. With Hillary it’s not just about words, it’s accomplishments”.
She is the first woman nominee of a major U.S. party and told the convention that the achievement was special “for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between”.
“It’s not like I’ll ever vote for Trump”, she said about Republican nominee Donald Trump. “He’s doing a better job than Obama”.
Trump’s son said in part of his speech, “We will not accept the current state of our country because it’s too hard to change”.
Last night the nauseating spectacle of the Democratic National Convention continued, giving Americans little rest after suffering the Republicans’ convention just last week. She talked about the rights of the LGBT community, and reminded the crowds of how Trump had slammed women, Mexicans, prisoners of war, and people with disabilities.
“We think about the countless thousands of other people who have suffered so much more than we have with so much less support”, he said.
Barack Obama has long insisted that Donald Trump will be defeated in November. “We say: “‘We’ll fix it together”,” said Clinton.
“I’m a New Yorker and I know a con when I see one”, Bloomberg said of Trump. “We will also liberate millions of people who already have student debt”.

Although Schultz resigned her position, Sanders supporters staged a walkout following the roll call that officially nominated Clinton for their president.
In typical Hillary fashion, Clinton hammered the issues, building a case not just against Donald Trump, but for a better America.
“Imagine what it takes to be sitting some place”. Almost 15 million new private-sector jobs. Builders in the way most American families are. Tragically, the joy of this achievement was shortlived, as just a few weeks later his wife, Neilia, and 1-year-old daughter Naomi were killed in a auto accident.
“Nothing truly prepares you for the demands of the Oval Office”, Obama said. We’re not. Don’t let anyone tell you we don’t have what it takes. We battled for a year and a half. “And that’s one reason why nearly every country on Earth sees America as stronger and more respected today than they did eight years ago”.
She went on to promote plans to raise the minimum wage, expand health care and offer free public college for most Americans, all measures which Sanders promoted during the primary.
He noted that she had exhausted him as a competitor in 2008, when he bested her to win the nomination, and compared her to Fred Astaire’s agile and nimble dance partner.
Other speakers scheduled for the final night include House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and US Senator Sherrod Brown, who was once considered to be Mrs Clinton’s running mate. And you know what? “Almost 500 people applied in just 12 days”.
That’s close to 500.
