I may get raped, I can be killed: Kathua rape victim’s lawyer

Protestors carrying banners and placards, marched the streets of Delhi, Mumbai, Thiruvananthpuram, Goa, Ahmedabad, Surat, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Moradabad and other cities, demanding that government quickly prosecute rape suspects.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday accepted the resignations of two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ministers Chandra Prakash Ganga and Lal Singh.
According to reports, the two BJP ministers had gone to the place of agitation at Rasana in Kathua and had attended a meeting in support of the accused to demand a CBI probe in the matter.
Madhav, who has been the BJP’s pointsman on scripting the agenda with the PDP, told reporters in Jammu that that the two ministers had displayed a lack of discretion by taking part in the rally.
Rajawat claims the Bar Association had threatened her earlier as well, when she pursued a case in 2015 against a J&K High Court judge who raped a woman.
In the Unnao case, an 18-year-old girl has alleged she was raped by BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar at his residence on June 4, 2017.
