Ice Age: Collisions Course trailer

The Ice Age movies long ago decided that anachronisms were the future, giving us sabre-tooth cats living alongside dinosaurs, being around when th continents split apart and now, sending rodent Scrat into space.

The Ice Age movies have never really been about historical or scientific accuracy, and even most religious people can agree that the Bible doesn’t say anything about wooly mammoths that talk like Ray Romano.

Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox have released the official trailer for “Ice Age: Collision Course”, the fifth film in the popular animated franchise.

The adorably amusing characters from Ice Age are back on the big screen! Appropriately enough, astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson also has a role in this anachronistic animal astronaut epic, playing a character named (unsubtly, ) Neil deBuck Weasel.

In the first teaser for Ice Age: Collision Course, Scrat somehow manages to hijack an alien spaceship and mess up the entire solar system, threatening Manny and the rest of the herd down on earth!

After being thrown around the UFO, Scrat accidentally attacks a planet, which then bounces into a neighboring planet and sets off a destructive domino effect across the universe.

‘Make a wish! Quick, you gotta make a wish!’ says excited sloth Sid, voiced by John Leguizamo, before one of the shooting stars rockets down and strikes him.
