Ichiro will continue quest for 3000th hit in Miami
Marlins President David Sampson said Jennings was asked to return his role as general manager of the team.

The Miami Marlins have chose to alter their outfield wall and give hitters a better chance to homer in the spacious ballpark.

Home run totals have consistently been lower at Marlins Park than elsewhere around the majors. “We’re trying to make it play more fair”.
Predictably, the Marlins’ gamble didn’t work, which could be said about every move they made this past offseason with the exception of the trade they made with the Dodgers, which brought in standout second baseman Dee Gordon and two other useful players.
Reducing dimensions is most likely in the power alleys, especially right-center field, Samson said.
