Hasselblad True Zoom is just one way to transform your mobile experience with Moto Z + Moto Mods. Motorola has also revealed a new Moto Mod accessory in conjunction with camera company Hassleblad, dubbed the Hasselblad True Zoom. The new mod features 10x Optical Zoom and a Xenon flash in addition to adding the physical shutter and zoom controls. Based on previous leaks and sources, it will be exactly like the Moto Z, which means it will be compatible with Moto Mods as well.

On the other hand, the Moto Z Play is thicker and heavier as it measures 156.4×76.4x7mm and weights 165 grams. In the camera department, the rear camera is a 16-megapixel shooter with Dual-Tone LED flash, Laser autofocus, PDAF to focus quickly, 1.3um pixel, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash for all your selfies and video calls.

Spec-wise the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, arranged in eight 2.05GHz processors and paired with 3GB RAM, might not sound top-of-the-tree, but actually that arrangement will be more than capable and assist the battery longevity. For a limited time, customers buying the device will get 50 percent off another Mod. It has the ability to shoot RAW images, and users will get access to Hasselblad’s Phocus software for editing images, as well as two years of unlimited free storage with Google Photos. In the USA, it will initially be available through Motorola and operator Verizon in a Droid Edition, before seeing a wider launch in October.
