If Johnny Manziel wants help, NFL is ready to give it

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam claims that he has been trying to speak with Johnny Manziel about the Colleen Crowley domestic violence case and concerns he has about Johnny’s well being.
According to the order first obtained by television station WFAA, Manziel can not see Colleen Crowley for two years.
On Thursday, police in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, said they had closed their investigations into allegations involving Manziel.
Manziel’s father revealed the troubled quarterback has refused two attempts by his family to get him into rehab over the last week. Now there is a pretty certain expectation that the Browns will release Manziel on March 9.
Ditka said he would sit Manziel down and tell him the limitations he must work within because of the code of responsibility that goes with playing in the NFL. The elder Manziel is anxious that Johnny could be dead by December if he doesn’t get help.
Manziel’s agent also released a statement Friday saying he was cutting ties with his client.
The Browns have already said they plan to dump Manziel next month. “I am hopeful that everyone will understandably respect my wish for privacy at this time”, Crowley said in a statement. Crowley told police Manziel struck her “several times” at a Dallas hotel and later when they drove back to her apartment in Fort Worth.
“I truly believe if they can’t get him help, he won’t live to see his 24th birthday”, Paul told the paper. Cavaliers star LeBron James’ marketing agency ended its association with him last month. I think that’s the last thing I need to be talking about is his incidents. “The league supports both of these teams, but we are working very hard with not only the teams but the communities to try to find a solution that works for everybody”, Goodell said at a news conference. I wasn’t there. I don’t know what happened, so who am I to say he was right or he was wrong?
The Johnny Manziel saga has become less about how he measures as an National Football League quarterback (to those still concerned with that, the answer is still “not well”) and more about his personal well-being.
