With a growing collection of Xbox One titles, Xbox 360 backwards compatibility, and the upcoming ability to use the Xbox One as a DVR, it’s easy to fill up an entire Xbox console. The addition of Windows 10 means that Microsoft’s voice-activated virtual assistant Cortana will also work with Xbox One, however, Kinect should be able to ask questions.

There is a huge amount of gamers who only like to buy a new console when their favorite game is released, and manufacturers know this well.

No exact date has yet been mentioned for the over-the-air service, which many users of the Xbox One have been requesting since the platform was launched.

On the one hand, it all looks very impressive, and it’s neat to see all the different ways they can utilise Microsoft’s dedicated servers to make games all the more immersive.

The Xbox One users will be able to record TV without requiring any subscription and stream games to any Windows 10 PC.

While Microsoft may be planning to update the Xbox One with its new Windows 10 interface later this fall, it has not forgotten its almost 10 year old Xbox 360 console. Sometime in November, you will be able to play from an initial list of 100 Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One.

Additionally, the new update and the new dashboard will also come with something else-an assistant, of sorts.

A new way to chat. Xbox head Phil Spencer also mentioned that a cloud-powered demo was an early prototype for the project. They can be used for quick access to screenshots, gameplay recording and other features.

The system will launch in 2016, but only free-to-air TV will be recordable.

Xbox exclusives include Lara Croft and the Rise of the Tomb Raider, sci-fi shooter Halo 5 Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, Recore and Sea of Thieves, Scalebound, Crackdown 3 and Quantum Break.
