Iggy Azalea and Nick Young Have Called Off Their Engagement

So did Nick Young’s engagement to Iggy Azalea, with pop star writing that she was “unable” to regain trust in her fiance.

The Australian rapper announced the sad news via her Instagram page. I genuinely wish Nick the best.

Minutes later, Nick confirmed the news via his Twitter by posting the simple message: ‘Single’.

The video was filmed months before that by one of Young’s basketball teammates, D’Angelo Russell, but it’s not known who leaked it online.

Nick had asked Iggy to marry him that June, and during his own carnival-themed birthday party. Azalea said at the time, per The Bert Show (via) Entertainment Tonight’s Jackie Willis, “I’m still figuring it all out”.

Billboard has reached out to reps for both Azalea and Young for further comment about the pair parting ways.

In March of this year, she revealed during an interview with Ryan Seacrest that she and Nick Young had made the decision to postpone their wedding plans until a later date.

The issue has reportedly caused a strain on Iggy and Nick’s relationship. The rapper was also seen NOT wearing her engagement ring in numerous photos. “There isn’t [controversy] at home, just on the internet”.

Young and Azalea started dating in November 2013, and the couple became engaged in June 2015.

There have already been rumors that the Nick Young-Russell situation might lead to changes on the Lakers roster this offseason.
