IHOP turns 57, celebrates with 57 cents short cakes
In honor of IHOP?s 57th anniversary, the pancake eatery is offering short stacks for 57 cents. Here’s your opportunity to help IHOP celebrate its big day, while helping yourself to an exceptionally low-priced breakfast. There is a limit of one short stack per guest and the offer is for dine-in only.
Customers are especially expected to smile as they pile up and join the legions of hungry fans and customers staking out their place in the anticipated long lines on Tuesday.
General Manager Heather Strohl credits the restaurant’s success to the positive atmosphere, servers, and of course, its famous pancakes.
The 57 cent deal is three pennies less than the price of a short stack when Al and Jerry Lapin opened the first worldwide House of Pancakes in Toluca Lake, Calif.in 1958.
IHOP in Vestal is the Greater Binghamton Chamber Business of the Week.
