Imran Khan finallise Reham Khan’s political future

Her statement came after Imran Khan announced his wife would no longer attend the political activities of the party.

Chairman Imran Khan said that he is not desirous of spouse Reham Khan’s stepping in politics adding that she would not participate in any political ceremony in future.

“PTI is opposed to all forms of nepotism. She only went to campaign there on the insistence of the candidate”.

Reham Khan will not contest elections on a PTI ticket.

Imran Khan expressed his disgust over harsh criticism against Reham Khan by the party workers after the election loss. Imran said that his wife will not be given any official protocol.

He defended his wife’s visit to the constituency to campaign for PTI candidate Raja Aamir Zaman saying, “Reham has only attended PTI functions at the constant insistence of PTI members”.

He said she already has too much on her plate as a street children ambassador she will not join politics. He added that people can only fight for their rights effectively and against injustice when they are politicised.

About his sons, the post read, “Some late summer holiday time for the Khan’s; A pleasant surprise for all the well wishers of the family to see Chairman Imran Khan with his boys; Suleiman and Qasim”. Imran Khan posted a video and few pictures of flag hoisting on Independence Day from Bani Gala.

However, Reham is politicised.

Reham further said she had supported others but had never sought the support of anyone to achieve anything in life.
