Imran Khan reached Karachi

Imran Khan also praised Army Chief General Raheel Sharif for refusing to accept extension of his tenure and the new office of field marshal.

The PTI chairman further said they would launch street protests if they did not receive justice from institutions.

While addressing a rally at Lahore’s Charing Cross, Khan said, “You must tell us how the money was transferred overseas, was it transferred through banks or was it laundered”.

Urging the protesters to come on the roads to get their due rights, he said PTI stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the labour of the country and demanded the authorities release the salaries of the PSM workers before Eidul Azha.

However, NA speaker stated in this decision that Sheikh Rasheed ‘s reference carries insufficient evidence therefore Nawaz Sharif can not be disqualified from NA membership.

“Nawaz Sharif’s name should be placed on ECL till the conclusion of the probe into his family members’ off shore holdings revealed in the Panama Papers”.

“The idea behind running the anti-government movement is to keep the public aware of the corruption done by the rulers”, said Tareen while speaking with reporters. He agreed that the party also had a plan to hold a protest in Raiwind – where Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resides. “We are not bound to respond to the queries put forth by a person who himself is corrupt”, Mushahidullah said, adding that we (PML-N) will only respond to the Supreme Court when asked to.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI chairman visited the PSM workers’ protest on the request of the party’s Karachi chapter.

According to the reports, the chief will address massive “Pakistan Zindabad rally” in Nishter Park Karachi on Defence Day.
