Imran threatens another sit-in, this time against ECP
Chairman, Imran Khan on Saturday night congratulated his party workers and supporters over the ruling of the Election Tribunal, declaring the election of National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, null and void.
Chairman Imran Khan after being declared victorious in NA-122 rigging case, has announced to address to PTI workers at 9 pm tonight at Zaman Park. “As a Pakistani citizen, it is my right to get justice”, he said.
While expressing his views over his recent announcement to stage another sit-in outside ECP office, Khan said that he doesn’t want to do so but he is being compelled to stage another sit-in.
While hinting at the return of Dharna, Khan warned if the ECP did not respond to his letter within two weeks then the people will forget his earlier sit-in which lasted for 126 days. “But I feel that I will be forced to do it again”, he said.
The PTI chief said the tribunal’s decision had proved that he did not waste country’s two years and put the blame on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the same. He said PML-N’s third and fourth wicket would fall soon. “But my struggle is for a transparent election system”, he remarked.
