In Iowa, Trump intensifies ‘birther’ attack against Cruz
Cruz is polling at 28 percent, while Trump is at 24 percent. My mom was born in Wilmington, Delaware.
Clinton leads Sanders by 3 points (48-45 percent) in Iowa, while Martin O’Malley sits at 5 percent among likely voters, the poll found. Among a broader group of “potential” Democratic-caucus goers, Clinton improves to 6-points, 49-43 percent. The Republican Party spent years trying to convince American voters that President Obama was not actually an American citizen, and Trump himself was one of the leading whackos demanding to see President Obama’s birth certificate.
Trump has repeatedly gone after Cruz’s eligibility to run for president in recent days, saying that his Canadian birth could become an issue Democrats will exploit in the general election.
On “Fox News Sunday”, asked whether he was “trolling” Cruz by spreading negative information about him, Trump said he was not.
He seemed to discount the possibility that she was a dual citizen – Canadian as well as U.S. – Sunday on CNN, despite her name appearing on a 1974 Canadian voter roll alongside that of her husband, Rafael Cruz, who has said he became a Canadian citizen during the eight years the couple was in the country.
“I don’t agree that it’s ‘settled law, ‘” Tribe said on ABC.

“Three weeks ago, nearly every Republican candidate was attacking Donald Trump”, Cruz said during CNN’s “State of the Union”. And that kinda suggests something has changed in the race’. And Trump knows it.
In a turnaround from December when GOP caucusgoers said terrorism was the most important issue, this month 27 percent identified the economy and jobs as their top concern.
“I’m so exhausted of these weak exhausted disgusting corrupt politicians we have”, he said.
The poll shows that the “birther claims” surrounding the Texas senator could hurt the Texas senator’s chances, with 47 percent saying a person born in another country shouldn’t be president, compared to 32 percent who say it should be allowed.
But some focus group members said they thought the issue could be legitimate.
