Inbox By Gmail Gets Updated Snooze Options
Google’s Inbox has added new options for its snooze feature so you can more precisely put off dealing with certain emails. Snoozing an email removes it from your inbox for a pre-selected period of time.
According to Google, the Snooze feature of the Inbox app is getting a visual makeover and a couple of oft-requested improvements. In the meantime Android users can hit up the Google Play Store to get their hands on the latest version of the app. You can even arrange to have the emails return to your inbox when you walk into the office with the start of a new work week.
As for the additions, Google has added two new snooze times to the list: Later this week and This weekend. You can now tap “Later this week” or “This weekend” when faced with non-urgent messages.
Now, the feature includes Later this week and This Weekend as options to let you save time and address things when they’re more convenient for you.
The “Someday” snooze option may seem a bit weird or unnecessary, but it could actually come in handy when you have something that’s good to know, but you don’t really need it now or at a precise time in the future.
The other new feature is the ability to choose which days you want to be considered as the weekend.
We all get the urge to snooze sometimes.
