India claims diplomatic victory over Pakistan in UN

Sharif said that instead of hurling accusations on Pakistan, India should stop its “atrocities”, claiming that it is involved in “serious human rights violations” in Kashmir.
India on Thursday said it had told Pakistan that infiltration of heavily armed terrorists from across the border can not take place without the “active and collaborative support of Pakistani security forces”.
Asked if India was preparing any fresh dossier on Pakistan’s involvement in terrorist activities, Swarup said: “We don’t need a dossier; the whole world is aware of Pakistan’s role in promoting terror”.
India will not hold any dialogue with a Pakistan “run by a warmachine that holds the gun of terrorism and glorifies terrorists”.
Gambhir said Pakistan was a “democracy deficit” country and “practises terrorism on its own people”.
“The Security Council has called for the exercise of the right to self- determination by the people of Jammu and Kashmir through a free and fair plebiscite held under the United Nations auspices”.
He also referred to Russia and said that there has been continuous communication between the MEA and its Russian counterparts and everyone knows Russia’s stand on terrorism.
