India’s government restores funding for HIV-AIDS program

According to BlackEnterprise the percentage of babies born with HIV to HIV infected mother or father is less than 1 percent.
“I simply want to encourage HIV victims and families in the North to accept their situation and move forward”, Ms Kubunavanua said.
“We at BCC and KMC will give our support to the government of The Gambia under the leadership of President Yahya Jammeh to scale up towards universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support”.
“Maybe some of the misconceptions are that it only affects people that are injection drug users or man who have sex with men. However, antiretroviral therapy can not cure HIV, which remains a lifelong medical condition”.
And he says early detection and proper treatment can help people with the virus live normal lives.
The Minister of State for Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire on Tuesday disclosed that Nigeria contributes 3.4million to the global population of 36.9million persons living with HIV/AIDS. Public figures like him are beginning to reduce the stigma against people who have the disease, which was referred to as the “gay plague” back when it was discovered but now affects many people beyond the gay community.
The keynote speaker was Neil Willenson, who founded One Heartland, a camp for kids with HIV.
