Indian cricketers dine at Cheteshwar Pujara’s residence

Indian Test batsman Cheteswar Pujara may not be a part of the ODI squad, but played a solid role as a host as he invited the Indian team for a quite desi dinner at his Rajkot residence on Thursday.

After losing the three-match T20 series 0-2 and another defeat in the 1st ODI, the Indian cricket team came back strong on the back of Dhoni’s heroics to clinch the 2nd ODI in Indore. He also has a double century to his name and has scored 7 Test hundreds.

Most Indian players, common to all three formats, will be on the road for almost three months in the marathon series against South Africa. The hosts take on the Proteas in the 3rd ODI in Rajkot on Sunday.

The Men in Blue though seemed not to be bothered as they arrived pretty much in full strength led by skipper MS Dhoni and spent a lot of time chatting with Pujara, which would have been a welcome change from the high-pressure series they are currently involved in.
