Indian PM Modi Mocks Political Rival Rahul Gandhi
In yet another hit-and-miss opportunity, the Congress vice-president, who after his sensational claims of exposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, once again proved he has no real ammo, as always.
The Supreme Court has dismissed documents seized by the income tax department – which Rahul Gandhi referred yesterday to attack Narendra Modi for corruption – as “zero”, “fictitious” and “not authentic”. Since the time he has learnt how to speak, I am the happiest.
“Everyday our farmers are committing suicide, we went to the PM with these problems, but the PM did not say even one word”, Gandhi said.
Party spokesperson G V L Narasimha Rao said Gandhi was immature and was just indulging in bluff and bluster because people are not taking him seriously.
Kejriwal had also levelled the same charges against Modi in the month of November in the Delhi Assembly.
“The Prime Minister should declare the names of worldwide shareholders in mobile wallets, e-wallets, debit and credit card companies whose business prospects have flourished following the Centre’s demonetisation move”, said Mohan Prakash, All India Congress Committee’s General Secretary. “Modi ji, they are not thieves, they are honest poor”. PM Modi also attended the Rashtriya Sankriti Mahotasava organised at the BHU by the Ministry of Culture. “Pretty much unconditionally we are ready to have a discussion he said”, flanked by the leader of 16 parties.
In a similar vein, the Modi took a potshot at former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for discarding note ban decision outrightly and questioning the feasibility of switching over to e-transactions.
The BJP said the Modi government was trying to recover dues worth over Rs 36.5 lakh crore the industrialists owe the Central government.
Don’t know why Modiji did not target the 94% of black money but the other 6 per cent, did not target the 1 per cent corrupt but 99 per cent hones people.
Later, addressing a rally in Ranchi, Kejriwal reiterated his allegations that Modi took huge bribes when he was the Gujarat Chief Minister.
