Indian security agencies get proof of Dawood Ibrahim living in Karachi Report
Ahead of the India-Pakistan NSA-level talks scheduled on August 23-24, evidence emerged that 1993 Mumbai blasts main accused and underworld don Dawood Sheikh Ibrahim is in Pakistan.
Among the documentary evidence which the Indian security agencies have collected is an April 2015 telephone bill in the name of Dawood’s wife Mehjabeen. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that this is an global truth and that Pak should accept the truth too. His son Moeen is married to Sania while daughter Mahrukh is married to Junaid, son of former Pakistan cricket captain Javed Miandad. Aziz will be in India to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval on the terror issues.
The Indian security agencies told Hindustan times that Dawood’s wife, son Moeen Nawaz and two daughters Mahrukh, Mehreen and Mazia are all residing in Pakistan and that Dawood is presently situated in the Clifton neighborhood of Karachi. The bill mentions D-13, Block 4, Karachi Development Authority, Sch 5, Clifton, as the address, and is issued by the Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited.
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Siddarthnath Singh said on Saturday that Pakistan must walk the talk and come out of it denial mode with regard to harbouring India’s most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim. The agency possesses pictures of his Pakistani passport.
While Pakistan has been denying presence of Dawood on its soil, India has maintained that the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts mastermind has his base in Karachi’s posh Clifton area.
The latest photographs of Dawood, 50, shows that he has a receding hairline, is clean shaven and has not undergone any facial cosmetic surgery.
The Indian agencies have also accessed Dawood’s new images available on Pakistani passports.
