Indian unprovoked firing in Sialkot sector
According to ISPR, three civilian Ghulam Mustafa, Rahat and Boota from Malana and Salehpur villages embraced shahadat due to Indian unprovoked firing on working boundary near Sialkot while five civilians were injured.
On the other hand, Punjab Rangers responded befittingly to Indian aggression, Dunya News cited.
Unprovoked firing of Indian security forces across Line of Control (LoC) killed four people and five got injured on Thursday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Further, Zareena, 18, died at the Line of Control in Neza pir sector near Rawlakot.
The incident came a day after Pakistani troops shot down an Indian spy drone which intruded into Pakistan along LOC near Bhimber town of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Instances of unprovoked firing across the Indo-Pak border have occurred intermittently over the years. Firing and shelling incident caused panic among the citizens.
On 12 October 2014, Pakistan’s Foreign and National Security Adviser Sartaj Aziz, sent a letter to United Nations and appealed to resolve the crises.
There were no reports of loss of life or property in the latest exchange of fire. The territory is claimed in full by both the countries.
