Indiana man accused of trespassing at Cincinnati Reds game
A 19-year-old Indiana man accused of running across the field during a Cincinnati Reds game has been arrested in Ohio.
Crazily, he was able to evade security. And because it’s 2015, the recent high school graduate did so while taking a selfie video.
A fan in Cincinnati rushed the field during the Reds-Cubs game on Wednesday night, but, unlike other rushes that usually leave the trespasser with an arrest, injury, or both, it appears as though this particular fan got away with it.
Buchanan says he said hello to Hamilton in center but got a negative response from the outfielder.
At this time it’s unclear if Buchanan has been apprehended.
“You know, I don’t think it’d be a big deal”, Buchanan told WCPO early Thursday morning, before speaking with police.
As component of a gamble with your friends, Buchanan organised on your discipline and near core fielder Billy Hamilton. “And I told her that it’d be fine”. I explained ‘What’s over.’ What he was quoted saying back in fact was not the best, but…
Justin Buchanan, 19, posted the tweet shortly after running on the field.
“I don’t think I’ll be in all that much of trouble, at least I hope not”. I was just kind of having fun, I guess.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Tom Groeschen and Henry Molski, Cincinnati police are investigating the matter and expect to issue a misdemeanor warrant.
