Indiana Mayor and HIV-Positive Prostitute Arrested
It began in July, based on a media release from Indiana State Authorities, when 60, Fledderman paid another guy.
The mayor of Batesville, Indiana, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of patronizing a prostitute.
Once the 60-year-old mayor found out about the infection, Wigle-Stevens threatened to go public with the encounter unless Fledderman paid him more money, according to investigators.
Wigle-Stevens has been arrested for prostitution as well as failing to disclose his HIV status to Fledderman. Both Batesville Casket Business and also the Slope-Rom hospital mattress producer are based there.
Wigle-Stevens was charged with a felony count of failure to disclose risky communicable disease, as well as one count of prostitution and one count of intimidation, both misdemeanors.
Fledderman is charged a misdemeanor, with a prostitute.
Court dates for each are anticipated to be scheduled Wednesday.
