Indiana Police Searching For Bank Robbers Dressed As Rick James & Super Fly

Witnesses say that two African American men entered the bank brandishing handguns and wearing elaborate disguises.

While Halloween is still a month away, a pair of clever bank robbers have chose to test out their costumes early – holding up an Indiana bank on Saturday whilst dressed as none other than the late Rick James.

After being handed an undisclosed amount of money, the awful twosome took off in an unknown direction, according to eyewitnesses.

One of the suspects was wearing a wig with long braids and beads similar to funk superstar Rick James, and police believe he may also have robbed the Indiana Members Credit Union in the same city on September 20.

“Suspect #1 wore a black hat, long dark hair, sunglasses, all black clothing, 5’8″ – 5’10”, armed. Both men approached the teller counter and demanded money. He was armed and wearing all black clothing.

Authorities have yet to identify the suspects and are asking anyone who has information to contact Federal Bureau of Investigation Violent Crimes Task Force at 317 595-4000.
